On International Women’s Day, 600 women from across Israel gathered in the city of Netanya for a Women’s Conference to receive ministry, teaching, and spiritual encouragement. This year, through our partnership with Christian Friends of Israel, we were able to give away 2,000 copies of Derek Prince’s book, in multiple languages, including English, Russian, Arabic, Spanish, and Hebrew.
Testimonies of Transformation
Sharon Friesen, representing Christian Friends of Israel, expressed her gratitude for the partnership with DPM at this conference.
“It was such a joy to meet these women. If only you could see the excitement in their eyes when they discovered we had Derek’s books in their language! Their hunger for God’s Word was evident, and they eagerly took multiple copies. Many women shared testimonies of how Derek Prince’s books have truly blessed them.”
Here are a few stories that illustrate the power of God’s Word at work in their lives.
“I Prayed That the Curse Would Be Broken”
One of the women shared how Derek Prince’s teaching on generational curses changed her life:
“When I became a believer, I was drawn to Derek Prince's ministries. One of the things that I discovered was that there was a generational curse on my life. Both my mother and her mother died when they were very young. I lost my mother when I was six, and my mother lost her mother when she was only two. Because of Derek Prince’s teaching, I prayed that the generational curses would be broken within our family.
I stood on it in faith, and one day, the Lord confirmed it to me. I was driving my car when I felt the Holy Spirit stop me. I saw a gentleman on the side of the road, putting his cigarette out. And I thought, why am I watching this guy putting a cigarette out?
That’s when I felt the Holy Spirit say to me: “The curse is finished. No longer will that curse grow through your generation.”
This is not all. When I was young, I was raped and sadly my baby was taken from me. So even though I didn't die, the link between me and my daughter was broken. I was concerned about my daughter's generational link to this curse, so in my prayer, I asked God to break it. At that point, my daughter was only in her teens. Now she’s 40, and she has a beautiful family and a strong relationship with her children. Praise God for His faithfulness! And, thank you, Derek Prince Ministries. Keep doing what you're doing, because his ministry is alive. God's ministry never ends with a man's death, because it’s through Yeshua and God that it continues.”
Incredible Blessing
Noa, a Jewish woman born in Jerusalem, has been profoundly touched by Derek Prince’s teachings:
“I listen to a lot of sermons, sometimes hours in a row to Derek Prince back at home. God is working through this teaching. Thank you for providing these wonderful books. Something that intrigued me during the hours of listening to Derek Prince is his right approach to God's Word regarding the Jewish people - Jews in the Bible and then, Jews in these days. Thank you for providing all these books. May God multiply your work and bless you so much abundantly back."
Another Jewish woman shared how she found Derek Prince’s teachings online and how they became a guiding force in her spiritual journey:
“Derek Prince is like a spiritual father to me. Every time I have a need, God leads me to his teachings, whether online or through books. I have given my life completely to serving the Lord, and now, having his books in my hands is an incredible blessing. Hallelujah!”
Prayer and Thanksgiving
The impact of Derek Prince’s teachings continues to grow in Israel and beyond. The total distribution at the conference reached 1,097 books, bringing the yearly total to 1,956 and an incredible 7,405 books since January 2023. These numbers reflect the growing hunger for solid biblical teaching in Israel.
As we continue this mission, we ask for prayers that even more women will experience the transforming power of Jesus through Derek’s teachings.
